Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich was named the National League MVP on Thursday after helping his team lead the NL with 96 wins and return to the playoffs for the first time in 2011. Yelich beat out Cubs second baseman Javier Baez and Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado.
