The Giants acquired third baseman Evan Longoria and cash from the Rays on Wednesday for their No. 1-ranked prospect, shortstop Christian Arroyo, outfielder Denard Span and pitchers Matt Krook (No. 25) and Stephen Woods (No. 29).
